Customer profiles

Customer profiling provides information that allows you to develop informed approaches to meet client needs.

Customer profile information can be as simple as being aware of what your regular customers prefer, ask for, or frequently buy. On the other hand you may want to find out more about your customers. Finding out the following information about people can often help to get a better idea of future unmet needs.

  • What do people buy and how often?
  • What do people buy in a particular season?
  • What are people's fashion values?
  • Where do people work?
  • How big is any particular family?
  • What gender mix is in the family?
  • What are people's hobbies?
  • What are people's tastes in clothing, literature, food and so on.
  • How do people like to be addressed?

What kind of information do you need to find out about your customers? Join a discussion on client needs by trying the discussion starter 'Customer needs and wants'.
